GLENDA CAMPBELL, LPC

Let me introduce myself, Glenda Campbell Marzette. Known to many of my past clients as Ms. Glenda.

EDUCATION

University of Montevallo

Montevallo, Alabama 06/2000-05/2002

Masters of Education Degree

Major concentration: Counseling and Guidance

Community Agency and Family Counseling

Internship at Family Court Jefferson County

I am a mental health counselor or your personal cheerleader to help you with your present concerns. Whatever your situation is, I want you to know that I see you, I hear, and I want to use all of my counseling skills to help you. I will do my very best to help while continuing to be ethical, professional and empathetic at all times.

Life can sometimes be difficult and overwhelming, causing us to sometimes question who we are and what’s important or what are our priorities and core values. Having someone to help you talk about those feelings, sort out what you know and what you don’t know is what I do best. Understanding that our feelings do change, it is important to give our feelings time and space to change to something that more reflects our core values.

Helping people understand past trauma, that maybe still affecting them in their present lives is something that I am very good at too. Helping people to realize the strengths and skill set it took you to get you here. Assuring clients that you can do this, and then having the privilege to watch as you gain that same confidence in yourself, is why I do what I do.

Identifying and accomplishing healthy relationships is important to me too. I believe you owe it to yourself to be or show up as the best version of yourself as possible. That is good for you and everyone you come into contact with that day. I believe in grace because I am the product of that loving grace and sharing it with others is something that I like doing as often as possible. I am not perfect and I don’t have all the answers, but I can promise you that I’ll be present and available to you as long as we have a counseling relationship!
